The mechanism
Nothing slips the scan.
After every market close, all 1,600+ mutual funds and every Nifty 500 stock and ETF are re-scored on returns, momentum, drawdowns and volatility. Your holding doesn’t get a pass because you like it — it gets a number.
Calls that commit.
Fund signals carry hysteresis — a fund must prove itself for days before a call changes, so one bad session doesn’t shake you out. Every stock buy comes with its exit already set: a profit target and a sell-by date.
The exit you won’t make yourself.
On funds, a trailing stop-loss walks up behind every gain and calls the exit before a round-trip. On stocks, a stock bought on a sharp dip is sold if it falls 16% below its price, and one that has gone nowhere after 40 sessions is let go. New fund buying pauses when the market turns. Discipline, not willpower.
